However, in addition to the loss of True Tone, the user may also experience other problems, such as the proximity sensor, automatic brightness adjustment, etc.

And how to actually perform this operation? For the purposes of this article, we will show you the procedure with the JC-V1 programmer. The procedure is more or less the same for other programmers and it is really simple.

• Open the JC Repair program on your computer and click on "Chip repair".
• Connect your iPhone to your computer with an 8-pin cable.
• Click the blue "Fix True Tone" button. The data should be detected automatically.
• Connect the JC-V1 to the computer.
• Connect your new screen to the JC-V1. "Online" appears on the JC-V1 screen.
• In the JC Repair program, click on "Fix True Tone".
• After clicking, the program will ask you if you want to continue, click "Yes".
• True Tone data is now installed on your new display.

As we have already mentioned, some programmers do not require any external application to work and therefore work completely independently. However, the procedure is almost always the same - download data from the original display, connect a new display, upload data to a new display.

After completing the last step, you can continue to install a new screen on your device, but with the True Tone feature working.
