How to Choose the Right iPhone Display
When choosing a replacement display, it is not enough to consider only the model and price. Displays may differ in technology, build quality, refresh rate, display area size, supported functions and package contents.
1. Verify the Exact iPhone Model
The display must be intended for the specific device model. A part for the iPhone 13 is not compatible with the iPhone 13 Pro, even though the devices have similar dimensions. The connectors, panel size, sensor placement or frame construction may differ.
You can find the exact model in the device settings under General > About. If the iPhone cannot be switched on, you can verify the model using the device number, original packaging or proof of purchase.
2. Check Whether You Need a Display With or Without a Frame
A display without a frame is installed into the device’s original frame and is suitable when the frame is not bent or damaged.
A display with a frame includes a new display module frame. However, this does not automatically mean that it includes the phone’s midframe or complete housing.
If the device’s midframe is damaged, replacing the display alone may not be sufficient and the new display may not fit correctly.
3. Choose the Required Quality
For a result that is as close as possible to the original display, choose GENUINE Apple, Service Pack, Refurbished PRO or Refurbished.

Aftermarket is suitable for customers looking for the lowest price who accept lower image quality and limitations to certain functions.
4. Check the Display Technology
The main display technologies used in iPhones are OLED and TFT LCD.
An OLED display offers deeper blacks, higher contrast and more vivid colours. Soft OLED has a more flexible construction and a display area comparable to the original display. Hard OLED has a rigid construction and may have a smaller display area or a larger bottom bezel.
In-Cell is a type of TFT LCD display. It is a more affordable solution, with lower brightness, weaker contrast and possible differences in frame dimensions.
5. Verify the Refresh Rate
For iPhone Pro and Pro Max models with an original 120 Hz refresh rate, check whether the selected replacement display also supports it.
GENUINE Apple, Service Pack, Refurbished PRO and Refurbished retain the 120 Hz refresh rate on supported models. Depending on the specific product, FixPremium displays have a refresh rate of 60 or 90 Hz, while separately labelled 120 Hz versions may also be available. Aftermarket displays have a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The specifications listed for the specific product are always decisive.
6. Check the Supported Functions
Before ordering, check the support for True Tone, Haptic Touch and other functions of the original display. With some non-original displays, data from the original part may need to be transferred using a programmer.
True Tone and Haptic Touch cannot be programmed on Aftermarket displays.
7. Check the Package Contents
A product may contain an individual part or a complete display assembly, such as a display with touchscreen glass, a frame or a battery. Always verify the exact contents in the product name and description.

Face ID is not directly part of the replacement display. Retaining the function depends on the correct transfer of the original sensors and on whether related components are damaged during the original incident or installation.
Will True Tone Work After the Replacement?
This depends on the display used, the device model and the replacement procedure. With some parts, the data from the original display must be transferred using a programmer. True Tone cannot be programmed on Aftermarket displays.

Can I Replace the Display Myself?
Yes, provided you have the necessary experience, tools and suitable working conditions. Incorrect installation may damage the display, flex cables, sensors, battery or motherboard. You can follow our repair guides or entrust the device to a professional repair centre.
Will an “Unknown Part” Message Appear After the Replacement?
When a GENUINE Apple display is correctly installed and calibrated, the information “Genuine” will be shown and the “Unknown Part” message will not appear.
With other quality levels, a warning about an unknown or unverified part may appear.
Which Quality Has the Lowest Price?
Aftermarket. However, you should expect lower image quality, a smaller display area, poorer viewing angles and limitations to certain functions.
Is Adhesive or a Seal Included in the Package?
