  • Bissell CrossWave Dust filter

    • Replacement dust filter designed for Dyson vacuum cleaners
    • Designed to capture fine debris and protect the motor from dust buildup, this dust filter is essential for maintaining strong suction and clean airflow
    • Easy to remove, rinse, and reinstall, the filter helps extend the life of your vacuum and ensures a deeper clean every time
    • For best results, clean regularly and replace every 3–6 months
    • Replaces part number: 1866
    • Aftermarket spare part
    • Package content: 1pc dust filter

When to replace the dust filter?

    • If it’s very dirty and can’t be cleaned,
    • If the vacuum has reduced suction – often caused by a clogged filter.

How to clean a dust filter

Filters can be washable or non-washable. Check the product description – if it doesn’t clearly say “washable,” do not wash it.

    Cleaning methods:

    • The best method is to blow out the filter with compressed air.
    • First against the airflow direction, then along the pleats.
    • Do not use high pressure – it could damage the filter.

If you don’t have compressed air:

    • Gently dust it off with a soft brush.
    • You can also gently tap it on a flat surface (not on the edge!).

    If the filter is washable:

    • Rinse it with lukewarm water
    • First against the airflow direction,
    • Then along the pleats from the opposite side.
    • Let it dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours

Do not dry it on a radiator or in an oven!

You can wash the filter up to 3 times, then replace it. Both washable and non-washable filters have the same lifespan – the difference is only in the cleaning method.
