  • Levoit LV-H128 - HEPA filter (Activated carbon)

    • Replacement dust filter designed for Levoit Air Purifiers
    • The dense HEPA layer captures up to 99.97% of fine airborne particles such as dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and other allergens as small as 0.3 microns, making it suitable for households with allergies, pets, or increased dust levels.
    • The filter also includes an integrated activated carbon layer that helps absorb unwanted odors, smoke, and everyday household gases (VOCs) released from cooking, cleaning products, or furniture. This combination of particle filtration and odor reduction ensures cleaner, fresher air in any room.
    • Its 360° cylindrical design maximizes surface area and maintains stable airflow, allowing the purifier to distribute clean air evenly throughout the space. The durable construction ensures long-lasting performance even during continuous use.
    • Installation is quick and tool-free—simply remove the old filter, place in the new one, and the purifier is ready to operate at peak efficiency again. Regular replacement helps maintain strong filtration performance, lower noise levels, and optimal airflow.
    • Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, or any environment where you want consistently clean and healthy indoor air.
    • Replaces part numbers: LV-H128-RF, LV-13EU-RF
    • Aftermarket spare part
    • Package content: 2pcs dust filter

When to replace the air purifier filter?

    • If it’s damaged (cracked frame, torn material, loose seams).
    • If it’s saturated with dust, smoke, or odors and cannot be cleaned.
    • If the air purifier shows reduced performance or airflow.
    • If the indicator light on your air purifier signals filter replacement.
    • If you notice unusual smells coming from the device – often caused by an old carbon filter.

How to clean an air purifier filter

Air purifier filters can be washable or non-washable, depending on the model. Always check the product description. If it does not explicitly say “washable”, do not wash it.

Cleaning methods for non-washable filters (HEPA / dust filters):

    • The safest method is to blow out the filter with low-pressure compressed air.
    • Clean first against the airflow direction, then along the pleats.
    • Avoid strong pressure – too much force may tear the fibers and reduce filtration efficiency.

If you don’t have compressed air:

    • Gently dust off the surface with a soft brush.
    • You may also lightly tap the filter on a flat surface to release dust (never hit the edges!).

Do not wash or soak non-washable HEPA filters.
Water will permanently damage the filtration fibers.

    Cleaning methods for washable filters:

Some pre-filters and coarse dust filters are washable.

    • Rinse it with lukewarm water (never hot).
      • First against the airflow direction.
      • Then along the pleats from the opposite side.
    • Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
    • Do not dry on a radiator or in an oven – heat can deform the frame.
    • Washable filters can normally be cleaned up to 2–3 times, then they should be replaced.

    Important

Both washable and non-washable filters have similar lifespans.
The difference is only in the recommended cleaning method, not in durability.
