Philips 800-series, AC0830/10, AC0820/10, AC0820/30, AC0819/10 HEPA filter 3in1 (Activated carbon)
- It combines three essential layers—pre-filter, HEPA, and activated carbon—to provide reliable all-round purification and help maintain clean, healthy indoor air.
- The pre-filter layer captures larger particles such as dust, fibers, lint, and pet hair. This protects the inner layers and helps extend the overall lifespan of the filter.
- The high-efficiency HEPA layer traps up to 99.97% of fine airborne particles, including pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This makes the filter particularly suitable for allergy-prone households or rooms with poor air circulation.
- The integrated activated carbon layer helps reduce everyday odors from cooking, pets, smoke, and household chemicals. It also helps lower VOCs released from cleaning products, furniture, and indoor materials, creating a noticeably fresher and more comfortable environment.
- Its cylindrical 360° design provides maximum filtration surface area and supports stable airflow for consistent performance. Installation is simple—remove the old cartridge, insert the new one, and your purifier is ready to work at full efficiency again. Regular replacement ensures optimal airflow, quieter operation, and long-lasting purification results.
- Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, or any space where clean, filtered air is essential.
- Replaces part numbers: FY0293/30, FY0194/30
- Aftermarket spare part
- Package content: 1pc dust filter
When to replace the air purifier filter?
- If it’s damaged (cracked frame, torn material, loose seams).
- If it’s saturated with dust, smoke, or odors and cannot be cleaned.
- If the air purifier shows reduced performance or airflow.
- If the indicator light on your air purifier signals filter replacement.
- If you notice unusual smells coming from the device – often caused by an old carbon filter.
How to clean an air purifier filter
Air purifier filters can be washable or non-washable, depending on the model. Always check the product description. If it does not explicitly say “washable”, do not wash it.
Cleaning methods for non-washable filters (HEPA / dust filters):
- The safest method is to blow out the filter with low-pressure compressed air.
- Clean first against the airflow direction, then along the pleats.
- Avoid strong pressure – too much force may tear the fibers and reduce filtration efficiency.
If you don’t have compressed air:
- Gently dust off the surface with a soft brush.
- You may also lightly tap the filter on a flat surface to release dust (never hit the edges!).
Do not wash or soak non-washable HEPA filters.
Water will permanently damage the filtration fibers.Cleaning methods for washable filters:
Some pre-filters and coarse dust filters are washable.
- Rinse it with lukewarm water (never hot).
- First against the airflow direction.
- Then along the pleats from the opposite side.
- Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Do not dry on a radiator or in an oven – heat can deform the frame.
- Washable filters can normally be cleaned up to 2–3 times, then they should be replaced.
Important
Both washable and non-washable filters have similar lifespans.
The difference is only in the recommended cleaning method, not in durability. -
