  • Sharp KC-F31RW Humidification filter

    • Replacement dust filter designed for Sharp Air Purifiers
    • This replacement humidifier filter is designed to restore proper moisture output and maintain clean, healthy air in your home. The filter uses a high-absorbency evaporative mesh that efficiently absorbs water and releases it as a soft, clean vapor. This helps support balanced humidity levels and reduces dryness in the air during the heating season.
    • The dense honeycomb structure increases the surface area for evaporation, allowing the humidifier to operate more efficiently while maintaining steady airflow. The material also helps reduce the buildup of minerals found in tap water, which can slow down performance in older or clogged filters. With regular replacement, your humidifier can run more quietly and maintain consistent moisture output.
    • Installation is simple—just remove the used filter and insert the new one into the water tank or filter housing. Regular replacement is recommended to prevent bacterial growth, maintain clean evaporation, and ensure the device works at full performance.
    • This filter is a practical choice for improving comfort in bedrooms, living rooms, offices, or any indoor space where stable humidity is needed for better breathing and overall well-being
    • Replaces part numbers: FZ-Z30MF, FZF30MFE
    • Aftermarket spare part
    • Package content: 1pc dust filter

When to replace the air purifier filter?

    • If it’s damaged (cracked frame, torn material, loose seams).
    • If it’s saturated with dust, smoke, or odors and cannot be cleaned.
    • If the air purifier shows reduced performance or airflow.
    • If the indicator light on your air purifier signals filter replacement.
    • If you notice unusual smells coming from the device – often caused by an old carbon filter.

How to clean an air purifier filter

Air purifier filters can be washable or non-washable, depending on the model. Always check the product description. If it does not explicitly say “washable”, do not wash it.

Cleaning methods for non-washable filters (HEPA / dust filters):

    • The safest method is to blow out the filter with low-pressure compressed air.
    • Clean first against the airflow direction, then along the pleats.
    • Avoid strong pressure – too much force may tear the fibers and reduce filtration efficiency.

If you don’t have compressed air:

    • Gently dust off the surface with a soft brush.
    • You may also lightly tap the filter on a flat surface to release dust (never hit the edges!).

Do not wash or soak non-washable HEPA filters.
Water will permanently damage the filtration fibers.

    Cleaning methods for washable filters:

Some pre-filters and coarse dust filters are washable.

    • Rinse it with lukewarm water (never hot).
      • First against the airflow direction.
      • Then along the pleats from the opposite side.
    • Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
    • Do not dry on a radiator or in an oven – heat can deform the frame.
    • Washable filters can normally be cleaned up to 2–3 times, then they should be replaced.

    Important

Both washable and non-washable filters have similar lifespans.
The difference is only in the recommended cleaning method, not in durability.
