Contact Sealing Frame for AMD AM5, Thermal Grizzly combines a precision contact frame with CPU protection for compatible AMD Ryzen processors on Socket AM5. It replaces the motherboard's standard socket actuation mechanism and is designed to distribute contact pressure more evenly around the processor.

The frame is aimed at advanced PC builders who want more controlled CPU mounting and cleaner use of thermal compounds on AM5. The included sealing concept is especially relevant when working with liquid metal, where accidental spread onto exposed components must be prevented.

Installation overview:

1. Remove the CPU cooler and clean the processor area.
2. Following the Thermal Grizzly instructions, remove the standard AM5 socket actuation mechanism.
3. If liquid metal will be used, install the supplied silicone-foam inlay before fitting the frame.
4. Orient the frame according to its markings and secure it with the supplied hardware.
5. Apply the selected thermal interface material and reinstall the CPU cooler.

Important: Removing the motherboard's standard Socket Actuation Mechanism may affect the motherboard manufacturer's warranty. Always verify exact CPU and motherboard compatibility before installation.
