Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM Phase-Change Thermal Interface

Thermal Pad 50x40x0.2mm, Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM is a phase-change thermal interface material (PCM) that is solid at room temperature and begins to liquefy during operation. This allows the sheet to be installed cleanly like a pad while forming a very thin heat-transfer layer under operating temperature and pressure.

PhaseSheet PTM is useful where clean installation and long-term stability are important. Unlike a normal thermal pad, it changes state during operation; unlike a conventional paste, it starts as a precisely positioned solid sheet.

How to use:

1. Remove the cooler and thoroughly clean and dry both contact surfaces.
2. Confirm that the 50x40mm sheet fits the target contact area correctly.
3. Position the PhaseSheet flat on the processor or graphics chip without folds or contamination.
4. Install the cooler with even mounting pressure according to the cooler manufacturer's instructions.

Technical note: Thermal Grizzly states that optimum distribution requires high contact pressure and that maximum thermal performance develops and stabilizes after roughly ten thermal cycles above 60°C.
