  • Dyson Purifier-series, Purifier humidifier-series HEPA filter 2in1 (Activaved carbon)

    • Replacement dust filter designed for Dyson Air Purifiers
    • This high-efficiency 2-in-1 filter is designed for Dyson air purifiers and combines a HEPA filtration layer with an activated carbon layer to deliver powerful all-round air cleaning.
    • The precisely engineered HEPA structure captures up to 99.97% of microscopic particles, including dust, pollen, mold spores, pet allergens, and other pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, helping improve air quality for allergy sufferers and households with pets.
    • The integrated activated carbon layer is formulated to absorb odors, smoke, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from cooking, cleaning agents, paints, or furniture. This dual-layer construction ensures balanced filtration—removing both particulate pollutants and unwanted smells for a noticeably fresher indoor environment.
    • The filter’s circular design provides 360° airflow, maximizing the surface area and allowing your Dyson purifier to distribute clean air efficiently throughout the room. Installation is quick and straightforward: remove the old filter, click the new one into place, and the purifier will automatically adjust for optimal performance.
    • For best results, regular replacement is recommended to maintain peak purification efficiency, preserve airflow, and keep your Dyson unit running quietly and effectively.
    • Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or any space where you want consistent, high-quality air purification.
    • Replaces part number: 965432-01
    • Aftermarket spare part
    • Package content: 1pc dust filter

When to replace the air purifier filter?

    • If it’s damaged (cracked frame, torn material, loose seams).
    • If it’s saturated with dust, smoke, or odors and cannot be cleaned.
    • If the air purifier shows reduced performance or airflow.
    • If the indicator light on your air purifier signals filter replacement.
    • If you notice unusual smells coming from the device – often caused by an old carbon filter.

How to clean an air purifier filter

Air purifier filters can be washable or non-washable, depending on the model. Always check the product description. If it does not explicitly say “washable”, do not wash it.

Cleaning methods for non-washable filters (HEPA / dust filters):

    • The safest method is to blow out the filter with low-pressure compressed air.
    • Clean first against the airflow direction, then along the pleats.
    • Avoid strong pressure – too much force may tear the fibers and reduce filtration efficiency.

If you don’t have compressed air:

    • Gently dust off the surface with a soft brush.
    • You may also lightly tap the filter on a flat surface to release dust (never hit the edges!).

Do not wash or soak non-washable HEPA filters.
Water will permanently damage the filtration fibers.

    Cleaning methods for washable filters:

Some pre-filters and coarse dust filters are washable.

    • Rinse it with lukewarm water (never hot).
      • First against the airflow direction.
      • Then along the pleats from the opposite side.
    • Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
    • Do not dry on a radiator or in an oven – heat can deform the frame.
    • Washable filters can normally be cleaned up to 2–3 times, then they should be replaced.

    Important

Both washable and non-washable filters have similar lifespans.
The difference is only in the recommended cleaning method, not in durability.
